I have 6 more days left in my high school career. I should graduate on the 11th, or 10th if im lucky and get everything in. But i have to do, Physics: oral presentation, final exam. History; finish a book, read a chapter in the textbook, do a test, quetions and essay. Brit LIt: DONE!!!!!! Senior Research: paper and presentation. Thats it.
What the fiznuck happened in the last four years. way too much. not enough. EE-Ghadz! "Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it’s been" ~Grateful Dead.
Oh Boy Oh Boy. The future is crazy scary exciting; maybe just because im making that way.
Last years Allman Brothers concert was on August 21. Which means that when we go to this one, it will be a year since last year. things have changed so much even from then. Jeeeeez.
I dont know why i feel so old right now. Its probably becuase the average age of the kids im with now is like 15. but still... I can't imagine where i am going to be in 10 years, but it will be crazy looking back on how i got there.

well, plans for next year seem hazy now, at best. I dont know what to doooooo. I was just looking at the Amtrak website and you can buy a pass for like $400-$500 and can travel on all the Amtrak trains unlimited for a month. thats the entire country. I have no idea...
studio apartment, i can get for $800 a month

The weekend was great.

so, i won $200 on a scratch ticket yesterday, its no 4MIL but i'll be okay with this. Matt spent $50 on tickets and spent all his winnings on other tickets...
Anyways, so next year looks like an appartment with Pete, we just need to find one and get the money (easy right?). Then, i really really really think that we should all open up a buisness together... i dont kow what, because pete thinks it will be too hard to do a resteraunt. i think it would be grand and fantastic. but if not an art gallery or a lounge or a bar typ/lounge thing... or a wine tasting place with good music... SOMETHING.

im back at work again too. which is cool, i guess. the last week has been a sort of vacation for me. Fun times. it aww goo

Sickness

So i have decided i hate being sick. its no fun. I think i had/have what janie had for a bit (the coughing thing) or what my dad had two weeks ago. i have slept unbeleivable amounts. Today is going to be my only day at work this week, for tomorrow i have a doctors apointment to see what the crap is wrong with me and then therap and THEN PROM!

i have also decided that i LOVE the fealing of a new sweatshirt!... all my sweatshirts are old.. my sister got me a new one and its SO wicked hella super commfffy it makes me less sick.

so i talked with my friend matt from BeaverCDS today... and we hadnt talked for months. in conversation, next year's plans were brought up and he said he is taking a year or two off and then going to columbia (yeah) maybe. but then he was saying how he really doesnt want to go to college and that institutional education is crap... and we went off on that for a while. but this is cool because i hadn't seen him for a year or so and scantly before that. and he used to be big into school, or at least more than me, and a small jewish kid... and we made lunch plans... its cool. im excited.
thats all i thought id talk about this, because it just happened. right on. rock and roll will save the world!.

Roadtrip idea

You can drive roads that run with the appalachian trail.... and their really pretty and senic and there are small towns all around it... and its 2100 miles (the trail) and we can take it as far as we want, then go on day hikes (small ones at first). and have a ball!!!!!!!!1 LETS DO IT!, whose with me.

So there was this little girl on the bus (like just walking age) who was sitting across from me with her parents. and she looked at me and smiled and waved, so i smiled and waved back. then she did it again and again. and so i looked away after a while because her parents seemed embarrased. and she does the little: move your head to one sde to try to get my attention, kinfod get her head in my view. so i look and she waves and smiles. then she tries to get up, while the bus is moving and come over to where i am, but her parentswrestrained her.
that was it.
then they all went off into harvard square and i to boston.

Among things that i plan to do, including alaska, hiking (at least part of ) the AT, and starting a foodtruck buisness, i have added a new crazy scheme/plan/adventure Here is the story:

My dad gave me his old bike, so i began fixing it up yesterday, this was coupled with me finding a perfectly goodbike in a trashpile down the street from me. So i began making a frankenstein bike, combining the two into one. So i replaced the handlebars, seat and will do more--including repainting it. so thats fun. Though there is not air in the tires i took it for a little splin around the block and have decided something. i will bike cross country at somepoint. There, thats my new plan on the things-to-do list. Biking-Across-the-Country-is-Kewl....... codename BACK.

The sweater song?
things need to start shaping up soon, i should win he lottery or something. ive decided that it is fun on some levels, this office job stuffwould not be good for more than a year or so. I said in 7th grade if i get an office job id kill everyone, and i have one. its not bad, but a whole life of this would make me, wel bored. im already bored. its work though so i guess i cant complain, its interesting bordom i guess. im doing more creative things than at landmark for sure.

i need to figure out what im doing though. in general.
i wish i LOVED office work and 9-holes of golf afterwards and my shiny BMW and my degree at Manhattanville. if thats what i loveed id be a happy person.
i need to figure out things that i love that work... art school may be one, hopefully thats a good descision. i wish optimism would come soon.

i am going to start painting at the commons after work i think. i have decided that i want to go exploring somewhere, im restless, i dont know. Mr. G called me the other day to check in and wants me to call him every week or so to update him on what im doing. Fun. and then there is school in july. I have also decided that i need to do something incredable before i go back to school, i dont know what that is yet.
Update: im going to apply to MassArt and AIB for nect year i think. portfolio reviews; scarrry.
i finished community service yesterday, i havn't called the DA in like 4 weeks though. To Do: call the DA.

so i really like cooking dinner for the rents... i made steak and salmon today... and it was nice out so i pulled the grill out and had at it... i smell of smoke and garlic right now... if i could bottle this and wear it always i would. and then cover it up with Essence by Calvin Klein so people wouldnt like im somekind of smokey-garlic-man.
grilling + eating grilled food + chocolate-ice-cream afterwards = MMMMmmmmm josh is happy.

so recently ive walked a lot... becasue i want to... i should get the excercize... umm. i dont have a car... anyways... for the guitar project, ive been having to make frequent trips to guitar center, in brookline... a 25 minute carride, or at-least-an-hour trairide... i i took the train to kenmore today. i then walked, in shorts and a t-shirt, to guitarcenter and then back... very nice!
shorts and t-shirt = happy josh.

i start work with sam's dad tommarrow at 9:30a (which means i need to get up at like 7 but its cool, the life of working-josh). then up for dinner and fun!

so ive decided to make a movie...
after leaving sam's house sunday night i took three trains and a bus home.. on the first train i just started looking at people and really wanting to get to know everyone... its just weird to think of people as people when you on the train or something. everyone is trying to stay in their own bubble and ovid its contact with other people... but i just felt so incredably willing to go and pop it... and just walk away.. i dont know.
i felt like a human being it was weird... i felt like a member of a culture and a person in an annomous, everyone else sort of way. i didnt feel insignificant or anything, just special in big group of individually special people... i cant explain it... but i think i want to make a movie of just people, trying to get them just doing things that everyone does in a sort of universal human montage.. i dont quite know.
i went out today for a few hours and walked down to the charles and just started filim people...
we'll see

the guitar is coming along too.. it looks hot. i ordered some stuff for it today.. a humbucker bridge which was a bitch to find and the neck pickup should be coming in in a week or so... so yeah... i want to paint. but its weird not having f set environment, formal, to paint in.. i really want to find out how to drive my life by myself... and like paint whenever i want to. i have so much creative energy right now.. and feel just stalled out... i dont know...

so ive decided that my live journal wil become a sort of documentatation for me... there is no intent on anyone reading it, just me... i dont know.

there is some terrible irony involved when a bald man gives me a hair cut. but i got one. from him. he didnt ask how i wanted it or what the deal was... he jsut started cutting, adn its short and trendly (like other hair cuts that have developed in the past few weeks)... ive been wearing a hat since this morning (post haircut hat wearing).
